Kyunghee Kim is a poet, writer, teacher, and mindfulness coach. Kyunghee writes stories and poems and is often inspired by her own experience as a Korean American immigrant. Kyunghee loves poetry because it’s playful and creative. She believes that the magic of poetry is that there is no wrong way to write it. Kyunghee cherishes family vacations, spending time with her nephew and watching him perform new skateboard tricks, and enjoying her mom’s homemade Korean food. Kyunghee lives in Ypsilanti, Michigan with her husband where they enjoy hiking and going on food adventures.
Emily Paik is a South Korean illustrator. She loves illustrating children’s books and is inspired by the colors and shapes of nature. Emily hopes that her illustrations make children smile and their hearts feel warm. Emily lives with her two dogs, Tofu and Doona, and loves going on outdoor adventures with them.
