Critical Statistics, Achievements, and Other Relevant Information
WNDB™ in the Classroom provides free books and author visits to schools around the country. This program was created to address the literacy gap that affects marginalized youth. By helping children find stories and authors that they can relate to, we can help foster in them a lifelong love of reading.
So far, WNDB in the Classroom have donated thousands of diverse books — over $75,000 worth since 2014 — to schoolchildren across the country. We have also created comprehensive discussion guides for Walter Award-Winning books like All American Boys and March: Book Three.
