Black Creatives "Promoting New Releases with BookBub" Virtual Marketing Workshop will provide insight to published writers about BookBub's marketing tools to boost new release sales at every stage of launch, from preorder to launch day and beyond.
Purpose
WNDB is offering twenty (20) slots total to mid-list authors who identify as part of the African diaspora for this Marketing Workshop to provide insight into promoting New Releases with BookBub.
BookBub is best known for helping readers discover great ebook discounts, but our audience doesn't only buy deals — every month, they purchase tens of thousands of new books and preorders too!
In this workshop, you'll learn how you can use all of BookBub's marketing tools to boost new release sales at every stage of your launch, from preorder to launch day and beyond.
Program Structure
WNDB will select up to 20 Black published authors to participate in a Marketing Workshop that will take place virtually on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 12:00 pm EST.
The hour and a half schedule will include faculty-led talks, and a Q & A session.
Faculty will include Danielle Innocent and AJ Yee from BookBub, who will provide insight into the marketing tools and opportunities BookBub offers.

Eligibility
Participants must identify as part of the African diaspora and must have at least two traditionally published books.
Judges’ Criteria
WNDB team members will assess applicants by using a mutually agreed upon rubric.
