Purpose
WNDB is offering twenty (20) slots total to mid-list traditionally published children's book authors who identify as part of the African diaspora for this virtual Sales & Marketing Insight Workshop to provide guidance and support for published writers interested in learning more about the sales process.
Program Structure
WNDB will select up to 20 Black traditionally published children's book authors to participate in a Marketing Workshop that will take place virtually on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 12:00 pm EST.
The hour and a half schedule will include faculty-led talks, and a Q & A session.
Eligibility
Participants must identify as part of the African diaspora and have at least two traditionally published children's books.
Judges’ Criteria
WNDB team members will assess applicants by using a mutually agreed upon rubric.
