• Reading Rainbow mentioned WNDB on Twitter, and Monday our publishing liaison, Hannah Ehrlich of Lee & Low books had an excellent article on the Reading Rainbow blog Debunking 3 Common Myths About Diverse Books.
• PEN.org invited WNDB to submit an essay for #BannedBooksWeek, and I.W. Gregorio responded with an essay on Why We Need Diverse LGBTQI Books.
• Also for #BannedBooksWeek, the inimitable Malinda Lo crunched the numbers and suggests that diverse books are more likely to be challenged.
• Team member Meg Medina was interviewed by the NEA about Telling the Story of You.
• Advisory board member Jacqueline Woodson discusses Brown Girl Dreaming on NPR.
