The symposium, titled “Seen and Heard: The Power of Books,” will be moderated by Newbery Medalist and bestselling author Linda Sue Park. Panelists will include past Walter winners and honorees, as well as the to-be-determined 2018 Walter Honorees. The Symposium will be open to the public, and live streamed by the Library.
National Book Award winner Jacqueline Woodson will serve as the Awards Ceremony’s Emcee and Guest Speaker.
